The general mobile house structure types are divided into: brick-concrete structure, frame structure, shear wall structure, frame shear wall structure, and steel structure.
The brick-concrete structure is used for multi-storey residential buildings, the frame structure is used for multi-storey public buildings, and the shear wall structure is used for high-rise residential buildings.
Frame shear wall structures are used in high-rise public buildings. Steel structures are used in super high-rise public buildings and long-span houses (such as factories and stadiums).
Brick-concrete structure: The load-bearing structure of a brick wall is called a brick-concrete structure.
Commonly used in ordinary multi-storey houses with less than 7 floors. Advantages: low cost, simple and fast construction.
Disadvantages: It is not suitable for complex architectural forms, the structure requirements such as floor height and room size are strict, and the seismic capacity is slightly weaker.
Frame structure: The structure that bears the load of concrete beams is called frame structure. Commonly used in multi-storey public buildings below 10 floors, such as office buildings, shopping malls, etc. Also used in high-rise buildings in non-seismic areas.
Advantages: The indoor space is large, which can meet the complex architectural forms, and the earthquake resistance is slightly stronger. Room partition walls can be removed and modified at will.
Disadvantages: The size of the frame column is too large, which is not suitable for civil houses.
Shear Wall Structure: A structure in which concrete beams and concrete walls are load-bearing is called a shear wall structure. It is often used in ordinary high-rise residences, and multi-storey houses and villas with very complex house types.
Advantages: The load-bearing structure is a sheet-like concrete wall, and the edges and corners of the columns are not seen in the room, which is more suitable for residential use than the frame structure. The concrete wall has strong earthquake resistance and high safety of the house.
Disadvantages: The amount of concrete is large, the weight is heavy, and the total height usually cannot exceed 150m. The concrete wall is a high-strength load-bearing wall, and the room cannot be demolished.
Frame shear wall structure: The frame structure mixed with part of the concrete wall is called the frame shear wall structure. Commonly used in high-rise office buildings, shopping malls and hotels.
Advantages: The use of indoor space and the demolition and modification of room partitions are as flexible as the frame structure. Seismic performance is as strong as a pure shear wall structure.
Disadvantages: The amount of concrete is large, the weight is heavy, and the total height usually cannot exceed 150m.
Steel columns and beams are load-bearing and are called steel structures. Commonly used in factories, super high-rise civil buildings and landmark buildings
Advantages: light weight, fast construction. It can be built to a height of more than 500 meters or even higher. Because it is a flexible structure, earthquake destructive force has little effect on it.
Disadvantages: Steel is afraid of corrosion, building maintenance is difficult, and maintenance is expensive. Steel is most afraid of high temperature, and fire is the natural enemy of steel-structured houses (the World Trade Center is the fire caused by the collision of the plane, which burned down the whole building).
In the frame shear wall structure, the section steel is used in the frame column, or the section steel is wrapped on the outside of the column, which is called a hybrid structure. Commonly used in super high-rise civil buildings.
Advantages: The addition of large-scale steel to the concrete structure can effectively reduce the size of the concrete column, reduce the self-weight of the structure, and enhance the seismic and load-bearing performance of the column. It can be built higher than ordinary frame shear wall structures, and can be built to a height of 300 meters or even higher.
Disadvantages: Because of the combination of the advantages of the frame shear wall structure and the steel structure, this type of structure is widely used in buildings ranging from 150 meters to 300 meters, and there are few disadvantages.
