Container House - Featured Container Cafe

The café 'unit' is one of the revitalization projects of the factory in Kyiv and a project that our team is implementing. This cafe is for those students who are studying in IT school. At first we didn't plan to build it. But while working on the IT school project, we learned that in the rebuilt building, there was not enough space for a large canteen or cafeteria. So, we want investors to build cafes individually.

We wanted to be able to experiment with shipping containers and after the sketches we were approved to prepare the detailed documentation. The cafe became a special business card and highlight. Residents, students and others eat, meet, discuss business, or make friends at Unit City (the name of the revitalized area).

Fourteen shipping containers were used in the implementation of the Unit Cafe project, one of which was vertical with a staircase inside. The second floor has an open terrace on the console on the ground floor. The console on the second floor is 7.5 meters. It has a good view towards the school and business center. The water on one side faces the entrance of the bridge.

There are a few things in common both indoors and out. The first floor is also partly painted green. There are comfortable sofas, tables, chairs, and plants on the first and second floors. The first floor has the kitchen, bathroom and pantry. The total area of ​​the cafe is 275 square meters.
