In the overall design, the containers are not aligned linearly or stacked in a row, but the whole is built into a landmark landmark with a unique shape. In the overall frame, visual graphics, and shape design, the characteristics and characteristics of the building itself are created. function to echo the local landscape.

In many rural areas of South Korea, makeshift shelters are often erected from cheap second-hand shipping containers. It is a pity that due to improper design and use of some second-hand containers, the final building as a whole is often slightly abrupt in the surrounding environment. It can be said that there is no harmonious beauty, which also has a negative impact on the rural environment and the overall landscape.

Considering these conditions and problems, the mayor of Incheon City, one of the largest ports in South Korea, proposed to build an oceanscope viewing platform, in order to tap the actual reuse potential and decorative design potential of brand-new containers in public spaces, and endow them with New aesthetic functions and designs for otherwise monotonous containers, and explore ways in which containers can be integrated with the rural natural landscape.

In this project, the designer tilted the three containers at 10°, 30° and 50°, so that tourists can enter the containers with different inclination angles from different entrances, and enjoy different views at different angles and heights. , in order to achieve the effect of enjoying different beautiful scenery in the same building. Through the green reuse and transformation of second-hand containers, the project reflects the economy of recycling, and also creates this historic public viewing platform for enjoying the sunset.
